Appoh9Former National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central, Rachel Appoh
Former National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central, Rachel Appoh has disclosed a conversation she had with the late Dancehall artiste few weeks before her unfortunate death.

The former Deputy Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, said the young talented musician confidently told her she will campaign for her in 2020.

“Ebony told me that she will campaign for me in 2020.” Rachel Appoh told Kofi TV.

She also disclosed that she invited Ebony to talk to her about her dressing but she gave a tangible reason that it is part of her brand.

According to the former MP, the ‘Maame Hwe’ hitmaker will be deeply missed by many because she was humbled and down to earth.

“Many people didn’t understand her in the industry she found herself… She is someone who would’ve preached the gospel if she had the opportunity.

“I’m a member of the church of Pentecost and I strongly believe in prophesies but I’m pleading with the Men of God to put everything aside because the harm has already been caused and let’s pray for Ebony’s family.”

Appoh was present at Ebony’s One-Week memorial service last Sunday to commiserate with the family at the St. Martin De Porres at Dansoman-Accra.

The former member of parliament lost her seat to the New Patriotic Party candidate, Naana Eyiah in the 2016 elections.
