GHbeatNigeriaGhana will face Cote d’Ivoire in the final after they beat Mali 2-0 in the other semi-final
Ghana’s Black Queens beat Nigeria’s Super Falcons 5-4 on penalties yesterday in the semi-finals of the ongoing WAFU Zone B Women’s Tournament in Cote d’Ivoire.

Nigeria took the lead in the 8th minute through Alice Ogebe but Faustina Ampah responded for Ghana in the 18th minute to send the match into the shootout after regulation time.

In the shootout, Portia Boakye, Priscilla Okyere, Gladys Amfobea, Ellen Coleman and Alice Kusi scored for Ghana to send the team through to the final even though Grace Asantewaa missed her kick.

They will face Cote d’Ivoire in the final after they beat Mali 2-0 in the other semi-final.
