Gospel Reggae artiste Akesse Brempong has charged that, men of God, in order to flee sexual temptation should treat women, who throw themselves at them, as sisters.

He enlightened that men of God (pastors, priests, gospel artistes) have been entrusted with a huge responsibility to hold a higher standard, and expected to live pristine, holy lives, worthy of emulation.

A number of ministers of the gospel have been involved in sex scandals or having amorous affairs with members of the opposite sex order than their partners.

This has naturally raised the issue of credibility among men of God, who are supposed to be role models to their congregations and the society.

Akesse Brempong been confident that there are still some pious ministers of the gospel out there believed that, the situation could be curtailed if they (men of God) are always on guard.

On how he handles the opposite sex, mostly female fans who may throw sexual advances at him, he was quick to answer that the best way is to treat them as sisters as the Apostle Paul adviced Timothy in the Bible.

In an interview with Ghanaweb's Bernice Owusuwaa ‘Crazy Love’ crooner added, “They may not want to treat you as a brother but you, as the men of God, treat them as sisters. You are the man of God. You are the one who has been charged to live above reproach.”
