Boso PowderBoso Powder Concert takes place on December 23
UK-based First Klass Music signee, Afropop, Highlife Artiste Obibini Takyi Junior, will on Sunday 23rd December, shut down the whole of Asante Akyem in the Ashanti region, with his long awaited ‘Boso Powder’ Christmas Charity Concert.

The event is set to be held at Asante Akyem Atwedie, which happens to be Obibini Takyi Junior’s origin and home base. The show will be held at the Atwedie Community Park.

Obibini Takyi Jnr, is a singer and songwriter as well. The show has lined up some very good talents to showcase what they have to offer on stage on the night.

Obibini Takyi Junior and First Klass Music mother company, First Klass Shipping, will also use the opportunity to do some donations in the town. The donation, is meant among other things, to put smiles on the faces of the needy, widows and those whose lives are mostly dependent on the streets. In all, about 1,000 people are expected to benefit from this Christmas Charity work.

In an interview with Obibini Takyi Junior, he indicated that there are also other side events such as dancing competitions, football gala among other fun games.

Adding his voice to support the project, the Chief Executive Officer of First Klass Shipping Specialist Limited, Mr. Michael Obeng. said the charity forms part of his company’s Corporate Social Responsibilty (CSR) in giving back to the society.

“God has seen us through yet another successful year so the most critical point here is to give to the poor and touch their lives in a very special way,” he said.
