Ghanaian musician, Wanlov the Kubolor has replied Germany’s Ambassador to Ghana, Christoph Retzlaff, who tweeted a photo of NDC MPs leaving Parliament before President Akufo-Addo delivered his State of the Nation Address.

Christoph Retzlaff also asked for the opinion of his followers regarding the action of the NDC MPs.

He got some good responses:

“Very sad and disappointing to have an opposition party to walk away from a Big Day like this where the president gives his speech in which they could have legitimate reasons to interrogate the speech at the end,” Nana Kwaku replied.

“I think it’s in the right direction for the Minority to walk out. The rights of the Minority must be respected and that is the true meaning of Democracy. Pay their DACF so they can develop their constituencies,” Mustapha Abubakar wrote.

Wanlov the Kubolor also joined the conversation and gave Christoph a response that we guess he wasn’t expecting.

According to Wanlov, the NDC MPs actions in Parliament were “learnt from Europe.”

“This will rarely happen in a traditional setting of respected elders,” he stated.

“Politicians mostly cons, scam artists, teefs [thieves] and liars so no surprise,” Wanlov added.
