Gospel musician Perpetual Didier has revealed why she nearly fought highlife singer-turned-pastor Papa Shee at Accra-based radio station Kingdom FM.
Perpetual who is also known as 'Gospel Striker' told DJ Nyaami in an interview on SVTV Africa that, she believes Papa Shee is a 'baby Christian' who is jealous of Rev. Obofour’s wealth that’s why he is going about tarnishing his image.
In a video circulating on social media on Monday June 8th, angry Perpetual Didier was seen arguing with Evangelist Papa Shee when the two met on the radio to discuss controversial preacher Rev. Obofour.
Perpetual Didier accused Papa Shee of character assassination saying he should stop spreading false rumors about the man of God else calamity will befall him.
“Papa Shee is a baby Christian because he just came into Christianity even if he has been a Christian for long, he just entered into ministry so he doesn’t know what he is talking about yet he is going around trying to tarnish Rev. Obofour’s image without checking his facts right. He should stop that and humble himself else God’s wrath will come upon on him because Rev. Obofour is a true man of God.” Perpetual said.
Perpetual added that Papa Shee is envious of founder and head pastor of Anointed Palace Chapel (APC), Francis Antwi, popularly known as Reverend Obofour because the man of God is wealthy.
“Papa Shee is just envious of Rev. Obofour because of his wealth. Because he(Papa Shee) claims he is called by God but he is not financially blessed yet with his ministry that’s why he is jealous of Rev. Obofour because God has blessed him financially in his ministry. Papa Shee, stop envying Rev. Obofour, it is not good. Go to him and find out how is making it big.” Perpetual said.
Perpetual urged Papa Shee to confront Rev Obofour and tell it to his face that he is not from God if he is doubting his calling but not tarnishing his image on the radio.
